Interim Executive Director
Taylor St. Germain (she/her/hers)

Since joining the organization in 2022, Taylor has helped lead the organization’s response to the fall of Roe v. Wade, including helping advance Massachusetts’s best-in-the-nation shield law, organizing a regional coalition of advocates, abortion providers, and abortion funds, and guiding the organization’s expansion into New Hampshire and Connecticut.

Previously, Taylor served as Reproductive Equity Now’s Deputy Director and Communications Director, as well as Press Secretary to U.S. Senator Ed Markey, where she also played a key role in statewide communications for his successful 2020 re-election campaign.

Jillian Gilchrest

CT State Representative 
18th District of West Hartford (she/her/hers)

Elected to the Connecticut General Assembly in 2018, Jillian serves as House Chair of the Human Services Committee and member of the Appropriations, Public Health, and Judiciary Committees. She co-chairs the Reproductive Rights Caucus and Chairs MAPOC, the Trafficking in Persons Council, and the Endometriosis Working Group.

Prior to becoming a state representative, Jillian served as the Director of Health Professional Outreach for the Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence, Executive Director of NARAL Pro-Choice Connecticut, and Director of Policy & Communications for the Connecticut Alliance to End Sexual Violence.

She has extensive experience advocating for women’s health and safety, in particular influencing public policy at the CGA. Jillian was elected to the West Hartford Board of Education in 2013. She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work with a focus in Policy Practice from the University of Connecticut School of Social Work, where she has taught Political Advocacy. Jillian currently teaches for the University of Saint Joseph and University of Hartford. 

Dr. Cara Delaney
Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Practicing Physician( she/her/hers)

Dr. Cara Delaney  serves on the Connecticut Advisory Board of Reproductive Equity Now. She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UConn Health. She earned a degree in medicine and a Masters in public health at Tulane University in Louisiana, and completed a residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago and a fellowship in Complex Family Planning at Boston Medical Center.

Cara is passionate about training providers on all levels in abortion and miscarriage management with the goal of expanding access to healthcare. Being a physician advocate is a core element of her career and she works to train students and physicians to cultivate their role as advocates in their communities.

Cara's research involves improving patient-provider communication and navigating a healthcare system that was not built to center patient experiences.  Dr. Delaney also has experience partnering with Reproductive Equity Now on our policy advocacy efforts, as well as supporting UConn Medical Students for Choice.
